FROM THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY
Notice of Elimination of Six Month Inspection

Please be advised that the requirement for routine inspections (six month) of elevator devices has
been eliminated.

The proposed amendments to the Uniform Construction Code to bring about
this change appeared in the New Jersey Register on July 5, 2016.

The Notice of Adoption of
these changes will appear in the July 3, 2017 issue of the New Jersey Register.
