⚽️🏆 SECOND PLACE FINISH & A WHOLE LOT OF PRIDE! 🏆⚽️

For the second year in a row, Hurt Home Solutions LLC has had the privilege of sponsoring a local youth soccer team, and we couldn't be prouder of these kids! 💜

This past Saturday, our team brought home 2ND PLACE! 🥈👏

These kids showed up, worked hard, encouraged one another, and played their hearts out all season long. Watching their teamwork, determination, and growth has been such a rewarding experience!

At Hurt Home Solutions, we believe being a small, family-owned business means more than just providing services to our community. It means showing up, giving back, and investing in the next generation. ❤️

Supporting local youth sports is something near and dear to our hearts. These programs teach kids so much more than how to play a game. They teach teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, confidence, and the importance of never giving up. Those are lessons that last a lifetime!

Saturday was also a pretty eventful day for our family, as Courtney was involved in a car accident. We're incredibly thankful to share that she is doing much better! We sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out, checked in, and kept her in their prayers. Your kindness and support mean more than you know! ❤️

A HUGE congratulations to our soccer team on an awesome season and a well-earned second-place finish! 🥈⚽️ And thank you to the coaches, parents, volunteers, and everyone who makes these opportunities possible for our local kids.

We wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that response times may be a little slower than normal for the next few days.

Courtney was in a dirt bike accident and had to be lifelined to Indianapolis. She is okay, but is dealing with a broken nose, concussion, a whole lot of swelling and bruising, and is going to need some time to recover.

We are still operating and doing our best to stay on top of messages, scheduling, and current jobs. Things may just take us a little longer than usual while we navigate everything.

If you need something and haven't heard back from us, please send us a text or give us a call. Don't be afraid to reach out again if we missed you.

Please just give us a little grace right now while we get Courtney back on her feet and looking a little less like she picked a fight with a wooden deck. The deck won. 😂

Some projects mean a little more than others. ❤️

We recently had the opportunity to complete this bathroom renovation through Habitat for Humanity for a woman who needed some changes made to her home after losing her husband. As she’s gotten older, keeping up with projects like this just isn’t something she’s able to tackle on her own anymore.

So we got to work. 🛠️

We opened things up, rebuilt the space, installed a new walk-in shower, flooring, vanity, fixtures, grab bars, and all the little finishing touches to give her a bathroom that’s safer, more accessible, and much easier for her to use.

We apparently forgot the actual before picture 🤦‍♀️😂, but thankfully she grabbed some during photos so you can still see just how much this bathroom changed.

And yes, I conveniently showed up for the last day when it was time to caulk everything, clean up, and take the pretty pictures. 😂📸 Somebody has to document the evidence!

This is one of the things we love most about what we do. It isn’t always just about making a room look better. Sometimes it’s about helping someone stay comfortable and independent in the home they love.

We’re grateful Habitat for Humanity trusted Hurt Home Solutions LLC with this one. ❤️

This week gives us two very different reasons to pause and reflect.

🇺🇸 Labor Day reminds us to appreciate the people who get up every day, put in the hours, work with their hands, serve their communities, and build something better for their families.

At Hurt Home Solutions, hard work is quite literally what we’re built on. We’re thankful for every tradesman, small business owner, first responder, farmer, teacher, healthcare worker, and hardworking neighbor who keeps our communities moving.

And today, September 11th, we remember.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost.
We remember the first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.
We remember the families whose lives changed forever.
And we remember how, in the days that followed, Americans came together as neighbors.

25 years later, we still remember.

May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the strength shown by ordinary people in an unimaginable moment.

A bathroom transformation with a purpose. 💜

Every project we complete is important to us, but projects like this are especially rewarding because they help someone continue living safely and independently in the home they love.

Before we could begin the transformation, we had to remove multiple layers of old flooring to create a solid foundation. From there, we replaced the outdated tub with a beautiful, accessible walk-in shower, added safety features, installed new flooring, and gave the space a fresh new look.

We were honored to partner with both the Tippecanoe County S.H.A.R.P. Program and Habitat for Humanity’s Brush with Kindness Program on this project. Together, these programs help seniors make essential home modifications that allow them to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside organizations that care so deeply about our community. Thank you to both programs for trusting Hurt Home Solutions to be part of this meaningful project.

Helping people is the reason we started this business, and projects like this remind us why we love what we do every single day.

Family business means sometimes the crew looks a little different. 💜🖤

Today, I spent the day painting one of our client’s vacant homes. Trinity (not pictured) was right there helping me, while Gabi decided her contribution would be climbing up on the ladder and striking a pose every chance she got. 😂

I know she won’t remember days like this, but I will.

One of the greatest blessings of owning a family business is getting to share pieces of it with our kids. They get to see what hard work looks like, what serving others looks like, and what it means to build something together.

This season has been incredibly busy, and we’re beyond thankful for every painting project, repair, and emergency call you’ve trusted us with. Your support means so much to our family and allows us to do what we love while making memories along the way.

🚨 Don’t let this be you… 😅

These are actual photos that were sent to us by someone who witnessed this on the road. Thankfully, nothing happened, but it definitely caught their attention… and ours.

We’ve all been tempted to make “just one trip” by piling everything on the trailer and hoping for the best. But overloaded trailers, shifting loads, and unsecured items can quickly become dangerous for you and everyone else on the road.

Double post day, but I wanted to share this picture because it just felt real. ❤️

I worked with Gabe all day Thursday, cleaned all day Friday, had our garage sale Saturday, spent yesterday catching up on groceries, laundry, and cleaning… and today we’re right back at it. 😅

Busy season is definitely here.

I looked down at my hand on the drive home and just had to take this picture. Chipped nail polish, paint all over my hands, sweat, and my wedding ring still hanging in there after another long day. 😂

This isn’t the glamorous side of owning a business that people see on Facebook, but it’s our reality. Long days, lots of hard work, last-minute emergency calls, and doing whatever we can to take care of our customers.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it.

I’m so thankful I get to build this business with my husband. Some days we’re exhausted, covered in paint, and wondering what day of the week it even is… but we’re also incredibly blessed. Every job, every referral, every person who trusts Hurt Home Solutions means more to us than you probably realize.

Thank you for keeping us busy, for being patient when emergency jobs throw our schedule off, and for supporting a small family business. We never take it for granted.

Now if you’ll excuse me… this paint isn’t going to scrub itself off. 😂❤️
