Our team at Superior Electric Tri-County is making strong progress on the South 5th Student Housing project for the University of Michigan.

With rough-in work nearing completion, we're now focused on commissioning data/fiber, access control, video surveillance, and ERRC/CPSRS systems ahead of the project's Summer 2026 completion.

Behind the Build:

Superior Electric Great Lakes Company partnered with Barton Malow on the expansion of an existing facility, adding more than 1 million square feet to support production of a new diesel engine.

Our scope of work included medium-voltage and 480V power distribution, lighting, branch power, site lighting, audio/visual and security systems, as well as complete electrical installation for a new 40,000-square-foot office building.

Shoutout to Project Manager Bill Schachermeyer and the entire team for their hard work on this impressive project!
