I almost never post pictures of my work because no one wants to see old toilets, fixtures or any of the other unglamorous things that I repair. This boathouse project is different. These customers pointed me in the direction of the problem and basically just turned me loose to do my thing. Made from scratch with cedar, stainless steel and my own imagination. I'm my own biggest critic but I'm pretty happy with this one.

My daughter asked if I could make a growth chart for her daughter ( my granddaughter). I remembered that I had some special materials that I've been waiting about 20 years to use. It's made from the side board of a broken antique bed frame that belonged to my wife's grandfather. The measuring block has a rare earth magnet attached and slides up and down on a metal strip.

Another happy customer. They had a shower removed and I converted the space into a linen closet. Framed the space, hung drywall, taped, textured, painted, installed LVP flooring, installed a bifold door, installed custom built shelves and installed base molding.

Just finished a fun project. Opened up the unused space under the customer's staircase and built a doghouse. Gaps were left under the moldings to accommodate the new floor that will be installed. I hope the dogs appreciate it!
