This month is an especially meaningful milestone for our president, Russell Harris, as he celebrates 20 years with Bailey-Harris. Over the past two decades, Russell has moved from working in the field to leading our company, maintaining a strong commitment to our people and the work we do.

A new gathering place for South Huntsville 🌳

The Park at Hays Farm is a nine-acre urban park designed to give the growing Huntsville community a place to gather, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. The park features a lagoon and waterfall, gazebo, pavilion, fitness court, walking paths, and connections to Huntsville's greenway network.

A piece of the property's history remains, too, as the park hosts the original windmill from the Hays family farm.

We're proud to have partnered with the City of Huntsville and Bostick Landscape Architects to bring this vision to life.

We're thrilled to congratulate Senior Project Manager Garrett Sanders for being named one of AGC of Alabama's 40 Under 40 honorees!

This award honors young professionals who have shown outstanding leadership and dedication to the construction industry.

Garrett has been with Bailey-Harris for three years, managing higher education and industrial projects. Most recently, he completed a 306,000-square-foot warehouse in Montgomery, Alabama. We're proud to see his hard work and commitment to our industry recognized with this honor.

18,000 square feet of new space for Straehle+Hess ✅

The manufacturer of interior automotive parts established its U.S. presence in 2004 with a warehouse in Auburn Technology Park South. Over the past 20+ years, we've partnered with their team on multiple renovations and additions to support their continued growth. Most recently, we completed an 18,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building addition that ties into the existing warehouse.

Each year, we award a deep sea fishing trip to the project team that best exemplifies our commitment to construction quality. This year's crew recently returned from the Gulf after being recognized with the Allen Harris Award of Excellence for Construction Quality for their work on the West Pavilion Expansion at East Alabama Medical Center.

Building three new floors above two active hospital floors required careful planning, constant coordination, and an unwavering focus on protecting patients and hospital staff throughout construction. Their attention to detail and dedication to quality made this project stand out.

Congratulations to this team on a well-deserved honor and a successful fishing trip!
