I’ve made the decision to close the farmstand a bit earlier than planned this season. Business has been incredible, and I’m beyond grateful for all of your support. It’s been such a joy spending time in the garden, creating products, and baking for you. While part of me is sad to wrap things up so soon, I need to shift my focus to something even more important right now—my health and the health of our baby.
If you haven’t heard yet, I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant with our sweet miracle baby girl—our triple rainbow baby. While both she and I are doing well, she hasn’t turned into the head-down position yet. My last daughter was breech, which led to a scheduled C-section despite trying everything to help her turn. This little one is currently more transverse/oblique, and after speaking with several specialists, I’ve been advised to reduce physical activity and stress, as these can contribute to babies not turning.
That brings me back to the farmstand. As much as I love it, the physical demands and busyness just aren’t ideal for where I need to be right now. So, I’ve decided to close for the rest of the year to focus on rest, gentle care, and a schedule full of appointments aimed at helping baby turn.
I won’t be open this weekend or for the remainder of the season. I’m genuinely sad to pause baking, to step away from the garden, and I will miss seeing your lovely faces at the stand. But I’m also incredibly hopeful and excited to reopen in the Spring when the weather warms and life looks a little different for our growing family.
Thank you again for your kindness, encouragement, and support these past few months. This journey has been deeply fulfilling, and I’m so grateful to each of you. I can’t wait to get back to baking and making for you again soon!
🤍 Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers over the coming weeks.
