🐀 RATS IN THE RV… EVICTION TIME.

This RV had some unwanted tenants living inside one of the storage compartments. Unfortunately, they weren’t paying rent either.

By the time the issue was discovered, rats had already been chewing on plumbing and electrical components. We sealed potential entry points, cleaned and sanitized the affected area, and set traps to help get the activity under control.

A lot of people don’t realize that RVs, trailers, and toy haulers can be a perfect place for rodents to move in, especially when they’re parked for extended periods.

We’ll be back for a follow-up visit to make sure everything is moving in the right direction.

Have you ever found rodents in an RV, trailer, or vehicle?

What We Found Inside These Rodent Bait Stations… 🤢

05/26/2026

Carpenter bee season is definitely starting to ramp up around Auburn and Placer County.

These bees love exposed wood like fascia boards, eaves, decks, and overhangs where they drill perfectly round holes to create nesting tunnels. You’ll often notice them hovering in the same areas repeatedly this time of year.

A lot of homeowners mistake them for bumblebees, but carpenter bees can slowly cause damage over time if activity keeps returning to the same wood surfaces year after year.

This is a pretty active home we came across today. 👀

Today is about more than sales and discounts.

This Memorial Day, we want to take a moment to recognize and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have today.

At Gingerly Pest Control, we’re grateful for those who served, the families who carry their legacy, and the history that shaped this country.

From all of us at Gingerly, thank you. Today, we remember and honor the fallen. 🇺🇸

Tyson’s out here doing his seasonal spider eviction rounds again 🕷️

Windows, eaves, corners - this time of year they all start getting busy, so we’re just making sure they don’t get too comfortable.

New customer out in Colfax today! Rodent control is really a game of strategy, not just tossing bait boxes out randomly. With wooded areas, old structures, and storage nearby, proper placement can make a huge difference in helping keep rodent pressure away from the home long term.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there from all of us at Gingerly Pest Control.

Today especially, I want to recognize my wife Stephani. She is truly the glue that holds our family and this business together. While a lot of people see the trucks, the branding, the services, and the growth… what they don’t always see is the person behind the scenes helping keep everything moving when life gets chaotic.

She keeps us organized, grounded, supported, and moving forward even on the hard days. She’s an incredible mom to Colton, an incredible partner to me, and a huge part of why Gingerly exists in the first place.

To all the moms balancing family, work, stress, schedules, and still somehow showing up with love every single day — you are the world to your families even when it may not feel like it.

We appreciate you more than words can explain.

Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

Pest control isn’t checkers… it’s chess.

Every move matters.

• Where traps are placed
• What bait is used
• How activity is monitored
• When to adjust

This didn’t happen by accident 👇

It’s the result of consistency and persistence—not just throwing something out and hoping it works.

Rodent control takes strategy.
And when it’s done right, the results follow.

Heavy rain is expected tomorrow across the area 🌧️

Storm systems like this often trigger shifts in pest behavior as ants, spiders, and rodents move indoors seeking dry shelter.

In situations like this, we typically see:
• ants showing up in kitchens and bathrooms near moisture and plumbing areas
• spiders becoming more active in garages and bathrooms
• occasional rodent movement into attics or wall voids

Kitchens and bathrooms are often the first areas where changes become noticeable, mainly due to moisture and how easily pests can travel through plumbing entry points and wall voids.

If any activity shows up after the rain, it’s something we can help you get ahead of quickly before it settles in.
