This post is a thank you to all former, current, and future customers of APE Services.

We started this business not only to make a profit, but to truly take care of and give back to the people and communities that have helped shape who we are today. Auburndale is our main focus, but all of Polk County is home to us. This is where we were born, raised, and built the values that APE Services stands on.

This message is meant to show appreciation, but also to make a promise. As we continue to grow, we will continue supporting the children and communities around us through sponsorships, school events, fundraisers, local programs, and more. These kids are the next generation, and we believe in supporting not only our customers’ families, but every family in our community.

As the owner, I look forward to the day when we have our billboards next to the Publix I’ve gone to since I was a kid, a big float in our local parades throwing candy to the kids, and APE Services banners along every fence line of our local football fields, baseball fields, softball fields, and parks. Those things would mean so much to us because they represent being able to give back to the same communities that gave so much to us.

Another Water Heater Replacement Completed This Week! 🚿🔥

Our plumbing team installed a brand new Rheem water heater our recommended brand because they’re reliable, efficient, and built to last. ✅

Now here’s the crazy part…
This old tank was manufactured in 1981 😳

That’s 44 YEARS OLD! 🏆
Definitely one for the books when it comes to long lasting water heaters.

Unfortunately, the tank finally gave out due to internal rust and ended up bursting. 💧

Thankfully we got there quickly, replaced the system, and had the customer’s hot water back on the same day. 🚿🔥

🚨 Drain Line Issue in Auburndale

One of our plumbing teams was called out to a home in Auburndale this week for a bathroom drain line clog. After evaluating the issue, we ran a drain line camera through the vent stack and discovered a significant blockage caused by heavy wet wipes inside the pipe 🌳.

We walked the homeowner through a few repair options, including clearing the line, but due to the condition of the drain, they chose to move forward with installing a new double cleanout 🔧. This upgrade provides easy access for future maintenance and helps prevent major issues down the road.

Our customer wanted more usable space around their refrigerator area, but the original return duct was oversized and pulling air from the garage and storage room before reaching the home. That setup drastically reduced overall system efficiency.
