Good morning, just a lil Education on this medication called Lisinopril. This medication is prescribed to those with high blood pressure amongst other things... apparently more African Americans are the ones who are having the negative life threatening reaction to this medication ... yes I have been taking this medication for a while and when asked why did this all of a sudden happen the doctor said “it has no warning signs” when I came into Urgent Care I was asked if I take Lisinopril and was rushed to ER to get a blood transfusion with some makeshift blood with something in it to help fight the infection off... I’ve been in the hospital since Sunday... It spreads and spreads fast so they wanted to ensure it did not spread and close up my lungs.. They tell me I can never take lisinopril again neither can I take Motrin Advil or Aleve it is life-threatening please ask questions to your doctor about this medication if you are taking it because they are not educating us when prescribing it to us
