Plywood prep is down ready for tile. NO THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO DO THIS. This is only a repair until they cam replace the whole floor with underlayment first. Problem is the cabinets sit on top of the tile.

Doing a tile repair and suspected it was put down incorrectly. Tile directly on OSB subfloor dose not work no matter what thinset you use. It will always pop loose may take a month or 5 years but it will. We are going to put down an adhesion promoter for the thinset but told the customer the whole floor needs taken up and if she wants tile again it needs backer thiseted down with screws first then tile. .

So who ever built this fence lag screwed a 2x6 to the house siding to carry this heavy gate SMH. We put in a 6x6 post and now we have to cut down the gate slightly to make it fit the new opening. Behind all the siding on this house is old cardboard sheathing. Of course they did not hit a stud so the whole fence gate weight was being held by only the siding. And as you can guess it wasn't holding.not a small gate its measurements are 5 foot x 6 foot. Very heavy gate at least 150 to 200 pounds.

All the siding repairs are up now just filling all the holes and skimming some that is a Lil ruff. We will come back and sand smooth before we paint. Long process messing with old wood siding!
