Every project begins with a vision.
Earlier this year, our team mobilized on a 33-acre Lake Austin property that will become a private family retreat nestled along the waterfront. Designed by the team at Michael G. Imber Architects with interiors by Lozano Jolas Interiors, it’s the kind of project that reminds us why thoughtful collaboration matters.
What you won’t see in the finished photographs is that years of planning happen before the first piece of equipment ever arrives.
For the past several years, our Construction Support team has worked alongside the owners and design team to navigate constructability, budgeting, logistics, and countless decisions. Good preconstruction isn’t about cutting costs. It’s about making informed decisions early so every dollar contributes to the finished home while preserving the architect’s vision.
Today, our field teams are cutting in roads, installing underground utilities, and performing the rough excavation that will establish the home’s final elevation.
Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference. Before foundation elevations are finalized, temporary platforms are erected so the team can experience the proposed floor heights and confirm views across the property. It’s one of many small steps that helps ensure the home feels exactly as intended long before concrete is poured.
