Aaron Concrete Contractors LP is more than just Highway Construction. We also recycle materials at our dump site (known as the PIT). Originally this branch opened in 2008 for concrete sales by volumetric mixers but grew to include concrete and asphalt recycling as an alternative for re-use of used product. We are approved by the TCEQ for recycling concrete, asphalt, limestone and soil; as well as recognized by TXDOT and the City of Austin for use of pugmills for stabilized sand base.

We have had customers come to us in the past needing verification of how the leveling loads of concrete and asphalt might be used after reprocessed and repurposed. After doing our research and testing, we can confidently say that what would have been dumped in a landfill we safety clean, crush, and recycle materials into usable full or base. Because of this, our customers were able to bid on projects with materials derived from ‘green’ sources. We have a few projects under our belts that abide by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Program. LEED offers incentives to developers and builders who are able to plan and thing progressively and yet keep their cost within reason.

We crush and screen all recycled materials. Though we no longer offer volumetric concrete we still offer a variety of purchasing recycled materials such as 1x2 Crushed Concrete, 1” Crushed Concrete, 2” Asphalt Base, Cement Stabilized Sand (CSS), Cement Treated Base (CTB), Fill and Topsoil, Recycled Asphalt, Recycled Concrete, Recycled Limestone, Recycled Soil.
