This home had already been renovated on the inside—but the exterior was still outdated, visually unappealing, and lacking presence.
The front elevation didn’t match the upgraded interior. It felt short, closed in, and offered no real shade or usable outdoor space, making the entry uncomfortable and underwhelming—especially in the Texas heat.
The client had invested into the interior… now it was time for the outside to catch up.
Our goal was to transform the exterior to match the quality and feel of the interior renovation, while also improving function and livability.
We started by removing sections of the existing brick façade to open up the structure and allow for a true redesign—not just a surface update.
From there, we built a custom steel and wood porch cover, combining structural steel posts and beams with wood framing and a shingle roof system. This gave the home both strength and architectural depth while extending the front footprint.
To elevate the overall look, we installed custom atrium-style beams that draw the eye upward—making the home feel taller, more open, and more intentional from the street.
We then completed the transformation with new siding installation, tying everything together into a clean, cohesive exterior that finally reflects the quality of the home as a whole.
The result:
A home that once looked outdated is now a bold, functional, and fully shaded front space—enhancing curb appeal, comfort, and long-term value.
