The Northwood kitchen is coming along. There’s still plenty happening behind the scenes, but the new space is officially starting to take shape. One of our favorite parts of a remodel is watching the plans slowly turn into something you can actually walk through.

Building new is straightforward by comparison. The Northwood Project is a gut renovation of a 100-year-old home, and every decision on this job has to account for what’s already there.  Preserving details that can’t be recreated. The standard for this kind of work is different, and the level of craft it demands is higher.

Curb appeal at this level is the result of decisions made long before anyone picks up a paintbrush. At Exposition, the natural stone exterior, standing seam metal roof, steel windows, and intentional landscaping all had to be executed in a way that felt cohesive and rooted. The kind of front elevation that stops you before you even get to the door.

At Canyon Creek, the outdoor space was built with the same level of craft and coordination as the interior. Stone columns, wood ceiling, a hardwood deck wrapping the pool and spa, and an outdoor kitchen that actually functions. Nothing out here was an afterthought.
