New sod turning yellow? Don't panic.
It's one of the most common questions we get โ€” and most of the time, it's totally normal.
Fresh sod goes through a lot: harvesting, transport, installation. A little stress yellowing is expected, especially in hot weather.

Here's the fix:
โ†’ Water immediately โ€” keep soil saturated 6 inches deep
โ†’ Don't skip days โ€” consistency is key
โ†’ Give it time โ€” most yellowing clears up in 1-2 weeks

Still yellow after 2-3 weeks of solid watering? Something else might be going on.
