A NOTE TO NEVER GIVE UP

Recently I made a post about our "Keep it Growing" addition to the plant bingos. I wanted us all to feel part of a community. To share memories. To share advice. To uplift each other.

But today, and after reflecting on life, I've discovered something unintentional.

These little notes were suppose to be for our guests. A little something left behind to share for the next person.

But today, I want to say thank you.

Thank you for the encouragement. Thank you for the laugh. Thank you for the love that you've shown. I've read every one of them. And today, I really needed it.

I'm suppose to say I'm strong. Unstoppable. Unbreakable. But that would be a lie and wouldn't be honest. Becuase I too am human.

We all have seasons of harvest. And during those seasons, there are storms and sometimes drought. You may lose a leaf or two along the way. What matters next is not what you look like after. Its how you bounce back and recover. You are not determined by how many fruits you produce. Its about how well you survive in the roughest of times, and what you do next.

For this, I am truly grateful.

I thought we were leaving these words behind for someone else. I didn’t realize some of them would find their way back to me exactly when I needed them.

And if you’re going through your own storm right now, please don’t give up. You may not be blooming today, and that's ok. Just keep growing. I'm here for each and every one of you!

Quick volunteer update! 🌱

We realized we accidentally left one important detail out of the event information:

If you’re volunteering with us, your ticket fee is waived! We just ask that you still bring one healthy, full-sized plant for Plant Bingo.

Don’t have a plant to bring? No worries! We’re also adding an optional $10 Volunteer Plant ticket. Green Thumb will take care of your plant for you, so you can just show up, volunteer, and enjoy Bingo with us.

Thank you for giving your time to help make these events happen. 💚

A little something left behind at Plant Bingo. 🌱

Denise, from Chicago, shared one of her favorite quotes:

“Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you, Denise, for leaving a little piece of encouragement behind for the rest of our Green Thumb family. 💚

Our next scheduled bingo is Plant Bingo™ Conroe this coming November. This one usually sells out, so don't wait too long to grab your tickets.
