After college he worked for the leading manufactor of artificial grass and headed up their sports division. After countless sports fields sold and installed in the United States and inother countries, he took over the Lawn division for the Southwest region. He played a key role in the product development and new acceptance to artificial grass. He spent the next ten years living in Arizona, Nevada, and California where he sold millions of dollars worth of artificial grass and sports fields.
