Out in Bee Cave working on a backup power solution where reliability isn’t optional.

This facility has a critical challenge: protecting sensitive stem cell materials during a power outage.

They already have a solar array and SMA Sunny Boy inverter system, but solar alone can’t always carry the load — especially when the sun isn’t shining, power demand is high, or in the unfortunate event of a power outage.

That’s where backup power comes in.

Our team is installing a Generac backup generator to help ensure critical systems stay powered when outages happen.

This project is a great example of why backup power matters for facilities with high electrical demands:

- Emergency power during outages
- Support for critical equipment and sensitive materials
- Backup when solar production drops or disappears
- Long-term power reliability and peace of mind

Would you know what to do if your business lost power unexpectedly?

If your operations rely on critical equipment, planning for backup power isn’t something to wait on.

Back out in Dripping Springs (Trautwein Rd.) — showing the next phase of this residential construction project coming together.

A few weeks back, we handled the underground electrical line from the meter to the home. Now that the foundation is poured and the roof is up, it’s our turn to step back in and start the interior electrical work.

Here’s what we’re working on now:
1. Installing the load center (main panel location)
2. Running home runs — wiring that brings power back to one central point
3. Preparing the system so homeowners can control major electrical loads
4. Coordinating with framers, roofers, and upcoming sheetrock crews

In new construction, timing is everything. Electrical work has to be done at the right stage — before walls go up — so everything is clean, safe, and built to last.

Out on an emergency service call in Spanish Oaks (Dripping Springs), and this is a good reminder that not all electrical issues are visible at first glance.

In this home, we found Gen 2 Eaton breakers running hot, which can be a serious safety concern if left unaddressed.

Here’s what to watch for:

Breakers that feel warm or hot to the touch
Flickering lights or inconsistent power
Frequent tripping or unusual smells

In this case, the solution was clear, replace the failing breakers and bring the panel back to safe operating condition.

Electrical issues don’t always wait for a convenient time. That’s why we respond when it matters most.

Out near Dripping Springs setting up welder power the right way.

This project involved running new power from the panel, through conduit, and into dedicated outlets to safely support welding equipment.

Here’s what we handled:
- Installing dedicated welder circuits
- Running clean conduit from the panel
- Adding breakers to support the new load
- Ensuring everything is safe and code-compliant

When you’re working with equipment like welders, having properly installed power isn’t optional — it’s critical for safety and performance.

If you’re adding equipment to your shop or workspace, make sure your electrical system is built to handle it.

Throwback to a residential construction project in Dripping Springs (on Trautwein Rd.) where we completed the underground electrical installation, and now preparing to begin electrical service after framing and roof is complete (a.k.a “Rough-in”).

One of the most important steps in new construction is getting the groundwork right — and that starts with properly burying electrical lines and preparing for the main service connection.

Here’s what the project scope includes:
- Underground electrical line installation
- Prepping for future main service panel connection
- Main distribution panel, branch circuits, electrical wiring, grounding, etc.
- Staying on schedule to meet construction timelines

Once construction wraps on the structure, we’ll be back to tie into the underground service and build out the electrical system inside the home.

Projects like this require tight coordination and precision to keep everything moving forward without delays.

Out at Life Family Church in Dripping Springs, helping bring an older service panel up to code so this space can safely serve families and the community.

The existing panel was outdated and needed to be modified and upgraded to handle the electrical demand of the facility. Our team stepped in to get everything cleaned up, code-compliant, and ready for long-term use.

Projects like this are about more than just electrical work — they’re about making sure spaces that host families, kids, and community gatherings are safe and reliable.

What we handled:
- Service panel modification and upgrade
- Updated wiring and EMT conduit
- Code compliance for commercial use
- Reliable power for everyday operations

Proud to support places like Life Family that are making an impact in the community.

Serving Dripping Springs, Belterra, Hays County, Travis County, and Austin.

Throwing it back to one of our favorite outdoor setups.

Saunas and cold plunges might be trending now — but doing it right has always mattered.

This project is a great example of how outdoor electrical should be done:
- Clean metal conduit runs
- Proper protection from the elements
- Code-compliant installation
- A finished look that’s both functional and sharp

When it comes to powering outdoor equipment, there’s a right way and a wrong way — especially with systems exposed to weather and heavy use.

We get a lot of calls for saunas, cold plunges, and outdoor power setups, and the goal is always the same:

Do it right the first time, so it lasts forever.

Serving Dripping Springs, Austin, Belterra, and surrounding areas.

When your power demands quality, call PowerMeans.
