Can you spot the problem? 👀 (Hint: it’s not the wiring!)

BEFORE: Flex duct crammed between the joists. See how the ducts are flattened, and the sharp bend at the bottom? Every pinch and kink chokes off airflow, so the system works harder and some rooms never get comfortable.

AFTER: All-new ductwork, routed with room to breathe. Fully open runs with gentle bends mean air gets where it needs to go. 💨

Your AC is only as good as the ductwork behind it.

Elite gets our American Standard equipment and parts from Aces Supply, the local American Standard distributor. Their team gave us a look inside one of their warehouses, and it’s packed with equipment.

Even better, they have 11 locations about this size, each one stocked to support local dealers like us. When your system needs a part, it’s usually already close by, not stuck in a shipment across the country. Meaning faster service for Austin homes when you work with Elite. 🤠

Our tech handled this whole swap himself. He disconnected the old tank, hauled it out, set the new Lochinvar water heater in place and hooked it all back up. Tight closet, no problem. 😎

Old water heaters don’t always give a warning before they fail. If yours is 8–10+ years old, it’s worth getting it checked before it leaks.

That cloudy water pouring out? Years of sediment and rust that had been building up inside this old tank 😬

It was time for a full replacement. Our tech swapped in a brand-new Lochinvar gas water heater with a fresh drain pan and expansion tank. It’s clean and up to code, and the hot water is back on.

If your water heater is over 8–10 years old, is rumbling, or is giving you discolored water, don’t wait for it to leak.

Out with the old, in with the new! 🔧💧 Replacing a water heater in a Central Texas attic takes some extra muscle and careful maneuvering. Our team handled the removal of the old unit and hauled the new one upstairs, ready for installation.

From the attic to the installation, Elite AC & Plumbing has you covered!

Proof that your residential HVAC doesn’t always have to hide behind the walls. 👀 This exposed spiral ductwork was installed to deliver the performance this space needs, while keeping the finished look clean, streamlined, and intentional.

At Elite, we believe quality HVAC work should perform beautifully and look the part.

Toilet wouldn’t flush, and the homeowner had already tried plunging with no luck 🪠

We started by running a closet auger through the toilet, but the clog wasn’t there. It was further down the line. Normally we’d clear it from a sewer cleanout, but this home didn’t have one.

So we pulled the toilet, ran our cable machine straight into the drain line, and cleared the blockage. The toilet went back on with a fresh wax ring, and it’s flushing like new ✅

💡 Homeowner tip: Don’t know if your home has a sewer cleanout? Ask us. Adding one makes future drain calls faster, cleaner and cheaper.

Remodeling? You only get ONE chance to fix your ductwork. 👇

Once the sheetrock is open, everything’s exposed, and in this Austin home it wasn’t pretty. Plumbing pipes are pinching this duct down to almost nothing, and we pressure-tested the system (that’s what the blue tape is for). The verdict: leaky ducts, and cooled air going straight into the walls and attic instead of your rooms.

Most homeowners won’t open their walls again for decades. Replacing ductwork now, while it’s accessible, means better airflow, lower energy bills, and a home that actually stays cool in a Texas summer.

🔧 Next week we’re ripping it all out and installing the new system. Follow along to see the before & after.
