Tackled a plumbing leak and some minor home repairs for some new buyers for our friends over at Superior Real Estate Group. Faulty washer supply caused drywall failure, and mold. Replaced washer box, verified no other leaks and re connected water heater after drywall repair. We love our commercial customers ! 10 windows with trim needing replaced, 22 windows painted, 3 doors and entrance door frame custom woodwork rebuilt and painted. We heard that Santa brings better presents to those with nice chimneys 😉. During a recent curtesy roof inspection from our roofing partners over at City Wide General Contracting, they noticed paint and sealant was starting to fail on the chimneys exterior. We got them sealed and repainted to help protect from leaks and further wear.

Electrician tip of the day-
Say No to surge protectors!

These are designed for sensitive electronics , TV, cable boxes, phone chargers etc.
They are not designed for high amperage devices like heaters, heating pads , electric blankets, coffee makers, blow dryers , curling irons etc
Customer called because an outlet was smelling hot and the surge protector cord was so hot it hurt them while unplugging it and they had a heating pad attached. Surge protectors cause hundreds of home fires a year that could have been prevented, as we come into the cold weather and holiday season make sure you are plugging any warming device or cooking device directly into an outlet.
