My flowers point of view every morning. 🤓🥴 They see ALL the versions of me. . . Tired, frustrated, proud, and everything in between and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🫶🏼🌻😉

Strawflower has been an interesting new flower I’m growing this season. Seeds sown in Fall, lots of loss over the below freezing temps in February, so only 3 or 4 plants survived. They seem to open with the sun but have closed recently with the rainy weather. I plan to direct sow another row for a later succession and see what I think. What about you? Do you like Strawflower? Tell me in the comments! 👇🏼

Overall the silicone rose de-thorner worked pretty well! I need to keep practicing with it (as you can tell 🥴🤦🏻‍♀️😂) but it does get the job done. Between the wind and Lola flower farming consistently stays interesting to say the least! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Raise your hand if you love Raspberries like I do?! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I had researched that the foliage is great in bouquets so I figured it would be a win-win. I will use the foliage in my bouquets and enjoy the Raspberries as a bonus.👏🏼 Unfortunately I ended up ordering a variety with thorns which wouldn’t bode well for my customers. So I did more research and thought I can just remove the thorns… which is exactly what I am trying here. ✂️ Stay tuned for the update on how it took the shave!🪒

Early May harvest 🧡🌸🌼 My overwintered season 2 Yarrow have been putting on quite the show. It’s unfortunate most are curved and too funky to use in bouquets but I was able to harvest quite a few anyhow. A bit of Statice and a few sweet Cosmos. These self seeded from last season and I’m sorta happy they did. I almost didn’t grow these but happy to see their joyful airy selves popping up. They make me smile every time. 😊

Bloom brightly, bloom boldly. Had a wonderful afternoon collaborating with Sandy Acre Flower Farm at Pro Libertate Coffee Co this afternoon! We made bouquets and painted our arrangements for a lasting keepsake with amazing coffee! Such fun!!!
