I can't hold it in any longer...

We got a call last Wednesday about 4pm for a leaking water heater. Everyone was closed. I felt so bad but wanted to help. Over Thanksgiving I convinced one of my suppliers to open up and meet me on black Friday(while still closed) to pick up supplies. So even though we were all closed, I spent half the day driving to Denver as they opened just for me to come in. I made it back around 430pm. I contacted the customer to tell her I had her water heater. I told her we typically didn't work on weekends but could come either late that night or Saturday morning and her response was "I appreciate your honesty but why did you go to great lengths to get the water heater if you don't work weekends? I'm going with another company."

I explained several times that she misunderstood and that I would gladly work any time to get the job done for her, even offering her a discount for whatever I did "wrong." I know I need to let it go but I'm so mad I wasted holiday time off of the awesome supplier who so graciously took the time to help us out for nothing.

Am I missing something? Ugh.

Thanks for letting me vent 🤣 Happy Holidays! I guess you can't please them all. But you know I'll keep trying!

So excited to bring you Navien's newest and greatest...the hydro furnace!!! This customer said the couldn't ever get their house above 65 degrees. After yesterday's install we had them at 80 degrees in about 10 minutes! Call us to see if this 97% efficient furnace is an option for your home!
