So last Summer 2025 , we were looking into getting a New Roof for our Home and extra Garage. We decided to get a couple bids , just to do our due diligence on pricing and Materials.
After getting three bids , and all the horror stories that we we told about people starting roofs and not finishing and wanting half down and not getting what they asked for that lead to court proceedings.
We were SCARED.
Fast forward To Caleb [Thompson], who is marrying our longtime neighbor, we knew he did construction and decided to give him a call , mind you it’s a couple hour drive.
he was here when he told us he’d be here. He measured everything. Let us look at material told us everything he would use.
Gave a price for both buildings, which was far below the other two bids that we had previously got.
We agreed & told him we would go with him and the rest was history. He made it so transparent & seamless that it was one of the easiest transactions we’ve ever done with construction of our home or remodeling.

One of our crews got to be a part of such a special moment for this family. Here are some words from Oliver’s mother, Kathrine Hartline:

“Today is the day Oliver has been waiting for, for so long! His wish from Make-A-Wish Michigan is finally being granted! His barn playhouse is being delivered and set up and he is ecstatic.

This is most of, if not all of, the team that worked on building his playhouse. Oliver had a chance to meet them and chat about his wish this morning. They were all so happy for Oliver and listened to him talk their ears off so patiently. Even letting us know they have dreamed of playing in the playhouse since building it.

Oliver sure is in his happy place with this barn. He is already making plans to store his pedal tractor and bike in the bottom of the silo, and keep chicken feed in the top. Guess we will know where to find him for the rest of summer.

Complete with barn bird feeder and weather vane. Lights and windows, which he was very impressed with. It's the small details that matter Lol

The best wish a farm kid could ask for.
