As the new year is well underway, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves again so that you can put a face with our name😊 We are the family behind Air Care-Shannon, Jessica, and the youngest of the French boys, Sawyer. Our oldest son Ty is serving our country in the United States Air Force where he is currently stationed overseas.

As 2026 begins, we are halfway through completing our 10th year in business! Shannon established Air Care with THE distinct purpose of providing our communities with honest, timely, reliable, and affordable heating and air conditioning services. He had a deep desire to be able to influence management decisions on how customers were treated, as well as to have the final decision to ensure the right thing was done for each customer every time. If you’ve given us an opportunity, we sincerely hope these qualities have been shown to you in us and our Air Care family.

God has been so good to us! It has not always been easy. But, one thing is for sure—it has always been worth it! Showing up every day for our communities, our customers, our Air Care family, and complete strangers has been a blessing to us! We thank YOU!

If you knew Mikey, you know he would want us to move forward with our plans ❤️

We are still having the drawing on Friday, March 28th!! We have approximately THREE + DAYS left! 🎟🎟🎟 LETS SHOW OUT FOR MIKEY! If you haven't already, get your tickets! Lets show our support for April, Savannah, Abigail, and Little Mikey ❤️ Nothing in this world meant more to Mikey than his wife and kids. Lets make him PROUD!! 🏆🏆🏆

🎟🎟🎟 Tickets are 1 for $10 or 6 for $50. We are happy to deliver your tickets to you! If you'd like to make a donation to the family, we can get that to them as well. We also have a Meal Train set up for April and the kids if you're interested in doing that. We are trying to help alleviate some of the stress on April and the kids as they adjust to the loss of Mikey.

It is with a heavy heart that we make this post... 💔

One of our very own, Michael “Mikey” Edenfield, and his family received the devastating news of him being diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. Although, his initial prognosis is not what we would like to hear, we are in high hopes and praying daily that this changes, and we receive better news. Mikey and his wife, April, have three beautiful children: Savannah, Abigail, and Little Mikey.

Mikey has been a part of our Air Care family for the past 3 years. However, this news is much more personal to us. Mikey, April, and the kids have been a part of our personal family for over 15 years. For those of you who don’t know Mikey, you have been missing out! Knowing Mikey is an absolute blessing! First and foremost, Mikey’s family is most important to him! He loves his family more than anything, and his kids are his world. Nothing comes before them. He has a heart of gold and will do anything for anyone-friend or stranger it doesn’t matter to Mikey. He is one of the funniest and most entertaining people you will ever meet. His laugh is contagious. Anytime you’re around him, it’s going to be a good time! And, you will probably leave with a few ribs hurting from laughing so hard. If you’re lucky, he will even show you some of his dance moves. If you know Mikey, you can’t help but to love him!

Although we are all doing what we can personally to help Mikey and his family, it is not enough. Our goal is to raise as much as possible to help assist with not only the medical related cost and expenses, but also the daily living expenses that we all face. Between his current condition and his recurring hospital stays, Mikey has been unable to work for over two months.

It is our hope to be able to help lift the financial burden for Mikey and his family with the money that is raised from this fundraiser. We ask that you keep Mikey and his family in your prayers. If you’re not in a position to purchase a raffle ticket, you can still help by LIKING and SHARING this post so that others can join us in helping one of our very own.

It is with broken hearts that we share with you that our friend, Michael "Mikey" Edenfield, won his courageous and brave battle against stage IV lung cancer on Saturday, March 22nd. To us Mikey was a faithful friend with a huge personality. He loved to act crazy and make people laugh. He would give you or a complete stranger the shirt off of his back. He loved April, and he loved his kids. He was one of the good ones, taken way too soon.

Our lives are a lot dimmer with this loss. While we do not understand, we know Mikey is home now, pain free, and if I had to guess....probably danced his way into heaven and said, "Heeeeeeeyyyyyy!" (in Mikey's distinct voice).

We ask for your prayers for his wife, April, and his kids, Savannah, Abigail, and Little Mikey, as well as his extended family and friends. We also ask for prayers for his Air Care family as we all navigate this huge loss. Thank you for your understanding, compassion, and patience during this difficult time.

Rest In Peace, Mikey. You'll forever be missed. 😢💔

Mikey is such a fighter! A brave and courageous fighter! He is currently waiting to be transferred to Emory so that they can better help him.
