🤍 Timeless never goes out of style. Solid wood shaker cabinets, dovetail construction, sealed backsplash with epoxy grout. We enlarged the pantry, added a double door, and kept the same footprint on the island — saving our client from redoing the floors.

What an incredible first Man Around the House event!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make our very first event such a success. Seeing so many kids excited to learn, create, and work with their hands made all the planning worthwhile.

Each child got to decorate their own tool apron, build a birdhouse, and paint it to take home. The smiles, creativity, and pride they showed in their projects were exactly what this program is all about.

Our goal is simple: to give kids the opportunity to learn practical skills, build confidence, and have fun creating something with their own hands—especially for those who may not have someone at home to teach them these kinds of projects.

This is just the beginning! We plan to make Man Around the House a monthly event with new projects, new skills, and more chances for kids to earn patches for their aprons as they learn.

Thank you again to every parent, guardian, volunteer, and especially all the amazing kids who made today one to remember. We can’t wait to see everyone at the next event!

We’re excited to launch a brand-new monthly community program at Spartan General Construction that’s all about helping kids build confidence, learn practical life skills, and spend quality time with their families.

This program isn’t about preparing kids for a career in construction. It’s about teaching them simple, everyday home repair skills they can use to help around the house and become more confident, capable young people.

At our first workshop:

🔨 Build and paint your very own birdhouse to take home.
🧰 Kids who are old enough can also participate in a separate hands-on station where they’ll learn a basic home repair skill.

Every child will receive:

🦺 Their own Man Around the House Tool Apron
🎖️ The opportunity to earn skill patches each time they master a new project or home repair. As they attend future workshops, they’ll build a collection of patches that showcase everything they’ve learned!

✅ Completely FREE
✅ Everyone is welcome
✅ All ages are invited
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult

Our goal is simple: strengthen families, teach responsibility, encourage problem-solving, and give kids practical skills they can use for the rest of their lives.
