As part of OSHA's Safe & Sound initiative, our team at the WellSpan Health York Hospital expansion project came together to celebrate the strong safety culture built across the jobsite. More than 200 trade workers and 20 foremen participated in self-safety assessments, reinforcing that safety is everyone's responsibility.

A special thank you to our trade partners, WellSpan Health, and OSHA Partner Shawn Renaldi for supporting this meaningful day focused on collaboration, accountability, and keeping every worker safe.

Congratulations to our project team and trade partners who delivered Rowan University’s Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine and Translational Research Tower on receiving an Engineering News-Record Safety Award of Merit!

With 55 subcontractors and more than 452,000 man-hours, maintaining a strong safety culture required collaboration and accountability across every level of the project.

Our "One Team" approach brought the project team, field staff, and trade partners together around a shared commitment to safety. Through initiatives including Contractor Shadow Audits, Close-Out Evaluations, and Safety Committee and “5 Alive” meetings, the team strengthened engagement, encouraged continuous improvement, and reinforced shared responsibility across the jobsite.

Our June Healthcare Center of Excellence (COE) program in Florida was a great success! We’re grateful to the healthcare professionals, instructors, and industry partners who made this session such a valuable learning experience. The program provided participants with the opportunity to expand their healthcare construction knowledge, engage with industry experts, and build a strong foundation for professional growth.

Joe’s approach to quality leadership is rooted in a commitment to early planning, precise coordination, and accountability on delivering in the field. He is known for fostering a healthy on-site culture of collaborations that ensures both design intent and owner expectations are achieved. Joe’ experience includes high-profile projects, including the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center, where luxury-level finishes and meticulous ex*****on were essential to delivering one of the region’s most prestigious hospitality destinations. He has also contributed to major Penn State University projects, including the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub and the Abington New Academic Building helping guide construction from the ground up.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Joe is an active community member of Kennett Square, PA, where he currently serves as a School Board Member. A role that reflecting his commitment to public service, educational excellence, and supporting opportunities for future generations. Outside of work and school board meetings, you will find the Everett family on a golf course maintaining their single digit handicaps!

🏆Daniel Margolis | Commissioning Engineer
Daniel represents a continued growth of subject matter expertise within LFD’s Mission Critical Commissioning Group, coming from LiRo-Hill, a sister design/engineering company within the GISI platform. Daniel is an instrumental member of one of our Mission Critical projects alongside our sister company Layton Construction, he is responsible for developing and implementing the project specific quality/commissioning plan. With the pace of construction, Daniel’s continued leadership will ensure an on time delivery on one of LFD’s first large-scale data center projects.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys 3D printing, computer modeling, fishing, watching NASCAR, reading Sci-Fi and studying history.

Recently, Penn Medicine Princeton Health marked a major milestone in the expansion of its cancer services with the placement of the final steel beam on the future Princeton Cancer Center.

Scheduled to open in May 2028, the new facility will expand access to advanced cancer care and support the growing needs of the community.
