During the Safety Month of May, our team held Safety Standdown events across our projects, taking time to pause work and focus on what matters most, everyone's safety.

Through guest speaker presentations and demonstration, lunches, and raffle prizes, we celebrated our commitment to building a strong safety culture and ensuring every team member across all of our project sites, goes home safely everyday.

Last week, we toured one of our complex healthcare projects currently under construction, a Proton Therapy Center being delivered using an Integrated Project Delivery approach.

Connected at street level to an existing cancer and advanced care facility, the project features a double proton vault with independently functioning cyclotron and gantry systems, the first of its kind in the U.S. The first phase of work included renovations to the existing Radiation Oncology Center.

As part of our Thrive 360 mental health program, we decided to take wellness and team building and to a new level with a relaxing yoga session at Yards Brewing, where mindful movement met great company and even better craft brews. Thank you to our friends at Yards Brewing Co. for the wonderful hospitality and allowing us to bring our team together for an evening of relaxation and thank you to our Penn Medicine Design & Construction team for joining us. Here’s to stronger teams, clearer minds, connection, and a little midweek recharge.
