Yesterday was Harmony's birthday. She helps around the office and helps bid jobs with her mom during the summer. There's is never a dull moment when she's around - she's the life of the party.

She keeps the office running and does anything else she can to help around here. We are super grateful for her and the work she puts into this company.
And she's about to have her first grandbaby. 🥰

Everyone at Cox Paving is back to work after enjoying a week of vacation.
June 29th was Jerry's birthday. He never said what his favorite holiday was, or if he even had one, but anyone who knew him knows he loved 4th of July vacation. He always said, "We work hard, then we play hard." - and he did. We spent summers at the lake for the 4th of July for as long as I can remember. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great vacation, and wherever he was, there was always a good time. He loved people, loved his family, and most of all pointed everyone to Jesus. He made sure we knew Jesus was the answer to everything.
Especially this time of year, I reflect on what many of us get to enjoy and the road he paved (pun intended) to take care of his family even after he was gone. He worked hard so we would have what we needed.
I always love it when someone calls the office or we're out looking at jobs and a customer has a story about him. He touched a lot of lives, and we are incredibly grateful for the time we had with him.
Life isn't the same without him here, but I hope we honor him in everything we do moving forward.

We spent last weekend in Mt. View celebrating Bernadette's birthday. She's not at the office much anymore, but she is the go-to for hard questions and moral support. She cares about this company and every employee, and especially her family. We are grateful for her and hope the very best for her in this upcoming year!
