Next Level Utilities & Excavating is a family owned and operated Excavation Company located in Baldwin City, Kansas. Tony (the owner) has worked in the excavating industry for over 25 years. When he was a teenager, they finally started to pay him! After Tony graduated from Spring Hill High School he went on to graduate from Kansas State University, specializing in International Agriculture. While

there Tony was part of multiple community groups and served as the treasurer in his fraternity, AGR. After he graduated college, Tony moved back home where he met his wife Jessica and went right back to work doing what he loves. Their fist child came in 2007 and she flipped Tony's world upside down and inside out. She has had him wrapped around that little finger ever since. His son came 4 years later and he has been following Tony around sharing his love for big machines ever since. In his spare time you can catch Tony taking his kids to cattle and pig shows all over the Midwest, in the woods trying to call himself an avid hunter, and at the local schools cheering his kids on in all their activities. Tony has incredible knowledge and experience in excavation and utilities. He specializes in installing and repairing commercial water, sewer and fire lines. However, Tony's favorite jobs are for the smaller customers installing water hydrants or automatic waterers, repairing home water and sewer lines, helping couples dreams come true taking complete control of excavation needs for their new homes, and digging ponds out for the water lovers. If your project includes moving earth... call Tony. He will take care of you! He is one of the last honest contractors out there who truly cares about helping others and will always use his knowledge and expertise to do things the right way the first time. You will be so happy you called!

Supporting the next generation of agriculture is something we’re incredibly proud of and feel strongly about.

On Saturday, we had the privilege of purchasing livestock projects at the Johnson County Fair Livestock Auction. This auction is the culmination of months of hard work by local 4-H and FFA members who have dedicated countless hours to raising, caring for, and exhibiting their animals. It’s much more than a sale, it’s a celebration of responsibility, work ethic, perseverance, and the future of agriculture.

We’re honored to invest in these outstanding young people and support the families and programs that help shape them. Congratulations to every exhibitor on a successful fair. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping you continue your agricultural journey.

Last week’s weather gave us a rain day, so the crew took full advantage of it. New tracks went on one of the loaders, along with some much-needed maintenance to keep everything running strong and job-site ready. 💪🔧

Meanwhile at Hedge Lane Jumbo Storage…
The crew raised a manhole to proper grade, making sure everything is ready for safe traffic flow and a smooth finished surface. It may not be the flashy part of the job, but it’s one of the things that keeps infrastructure working the way it should.
