Quarterly Supervisors Safety Meeting held April 17th at the Forest. We discussed incidents, etc. that occurred during the first quarter of 2026. Dirk Louviere's crew won the Crew of the Quarter Award for their outstanding safety performance during the quarter. We watched an Accident Investigation Training film from LWCC our Workers Compensation insurance company.

Upcoming items we'll be working on in the coming months: competent person scaffold training, updating First Aid training, fall protection retrieval training, and standardizing our tool trailers.

We also just recently recorded 10 years without a recordable or lost time accident. Congratulations to the crews, this is a fantastic accomplishment for an Industrial Contractor. Keep up the good work.

We received a phone call about the Crucifix in the Charenton Cemetery. The wood was decaying and in bad shape, Jesus was hanging on barely. So as part of our Community Outreach, we sent a crew to take it down and bring it back to our shop. We cleaned it up, replaced the wood on cross. and with proper reverence - mounted Jesus back on the Crucifix. Tim Mays and crew did a great job. The new Crucifix is back in place.
