We're Hiring: Service Technician

Fritts Heating and Air | Atlanta Area

$30-$35/hour + maintenance agreement commissions + take-home van
Fritts Heating and Air is a family-owned HVAC company, and we're looking to add one experienced service technician to the team.

We're not a huge company with hundreds of trucks and a sales leaderboard. We want a good technician who knows how to diagnose a problem, explain it to the customer, and fix it the right way.

We're not interested in pushing repairs or memberships that customers don't need. If you take care of people and do good work, they'll call you back when they need you.

The job:

Pay is $30-$35/hour, depending on experience.
You'll also earn $30 for every new maintenance agreement and $15 for every renewal from your customers. Those commissions are paid monthly and there's no cap.

We do expect our technicians to be productive and take care of their customers, but there are no sales quotas or required sales numbers.
During peak season, hours are generally 8 AM to 7 PM. During the off-season, we're typically 8 AM to 5 PM. You'll get time-and-a-half after 40 hours, because we know summer in Atlanta can get busy.

On-call is every other weekend, but there are no after-hours calls. When you're off, you're off.

You'll have a take-home company van and gas card.

We're a small company, so we don't currently offer a group health insurance plan. We do provide a monthly health stipend to help with the individual health coverage you choose.

You also get one week of vacation after your first year and three paid sick days. If you're sick, stay home and get better.
