Your trusted Punch List Guy has completed another small project. After an electrician installed a new bathroom vent for a customer, I was hired to add the finishing touches for a professional appearance. This involved fishing the wire behind the wall, boxing in the exposed wiring, and reinstalling the fan unit to ensure it was level. I then boxed in the fan unit to complete the look. The area now requires only some finishing touches and paint to blend in with the ceiling, resulting in a significant improvement for the basement bathroom.

Another small project, another satisfied customer. Replaced the worn-out railing on the front porch, then installed a new Anderson storm door in place of the worn one. Additionally, replaced the damaged Brick Moulding. A follow-up visit is required to replace the kick plate. Another challenge successfully overcome, another project completed. I am pleased to announce that the renovation of the porch on this charming old home is now complete. I would like to extend my gratitude to my brother for his invaluable assistance with this project. We successfully transformed the porch from its original state to a modernized and significantly improved structure, designed to last a lifetime for the young couple who owns the property. Today marked a significant milestone in restoring this old porch to its former glory, thanks to the expertise of the Punch List Guy. With favorable weather conditions, including a mild 55 degrees and a gentle 8 mph breeze from the southwest, we made tremendous progress. We successfully jacked up the deck, replaced the outdated support system with sturdy 6x6 posts, and began picture framing the exterior. The new decking boards are also taking shape. I'm thrilled with the transformation, and this deck is now rock-solid, thanks to its reinforced foundation and undercarriage. A huge thank you to my brother, owner of MR2 construction, for his invaluable assistance and support over the past couple of days. It's a testament to the power of family and collaboration.

On a new project now. Customer has given me the honor to remodel their Front Porch. Stripped off all the old wood and being replaced with Trex Decking (Picture Frame Design). New columns that will be wrapped. New Railngs and skirting to be installed. Jacking up the porch to build a stronger foundation sysytem More to come when it’s finished.

Working on another small project, skimming walls and replacing some Sheetrock that had holes in it from teenagers. We've all been there if you've raised kids. Lol. Once this is complete, the homeowner should have a bedroom that is as good as new. I love this stuff.
