DelDOT recently celebrated the groundbreaking for the US 113 at SR 18/SR 404 Grade-Separated Intersection Project in Georgetown, Delaware.

WRA led the multidisciplinary design team for this $45 million project, which included highway, bridge, geotechnical, traffic, water resources, and environmental services. The US 113 North/South Study and subsequent Georgetown Area Environmental Assessment, also led by WRA, identified the need to reduce congestion, improve safety, accommodate growth, and enhance multimodal access at this intersection.

The project is expected to be complete by the end of summer 2028.

WRA congratulates Stephen Greiling on receiving the 2026 President’s Award from the Chesapeake Water Environment Association (Chesapeake WEA)! This annual award recognizes one association leader who demonstrates outstanding performance, exceptional service, and leadership within the organization throughout the year.

During the past year, Stephen has served as Chair of the Young Professionals Committee, organizing more than 10 in-person and virtual events, including the inaugural Young Professionals Summit, which attracted more than 70 attendees. He also served on the planning committee for the association’s student hiring event and participated in the Government Affairs Committee’s National Water Policy Fly-In to Washington, D.C., where he met with congressional members and advocated for legislation and federal funding supporting water infrastructure and water-related issues.

Chesapeake WEA is the regional Water Environment Federation member association serving professionals involved in water quality and wastewater treatment in Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.

We are happy to announce that Terry Callahan, CCM, has joined WRA to support the firm’s continued commitment to and expansion of Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services in North Carolina. Terry brings over 30 years of experience in the transportation construction and CEI industry and will lead and provide oversight for WRA’s CEI operations statewide. “I am looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of what WRA is building in North Carolina and across the Southeast,” said Terry.
