Last month, we completed 's new 10,170 sq/ft boat-lift apron expansion in Belfast, ME. The expansion required 80 tons of rebar to be installed, and 490 cubic yards of concrete to be poured!

University of Maine's Morse Arena 🏀👷🏼‍♂️

This week, the Concrete Craftsmen team squeezed our 38 meter pump truck inside the arena to place the 2nd floor concourse concrete slab, all 8,800 sq/ft of it! Meanwhile, the N.S. Giles and Dixon Rebar teams laid and tied rebar, and prepped formwork for future placements!

Just a normal day here at N.S. Giles 💪.

That’s a wrap! Foreman Brent Hardy and the team at our Portland Jetport project has completed the final phase of work. With this placement, the N.S. Giles team, along with Auburn Concrete, has placed 15,000 yards of concrete over the course of two years. That is enough concrete to cover a football field end-zone to end-zone with a 7” thick slab! Oh, and they did it all with zero recordable injuries 😉.

Yesterday the team completed the second-to-last placement at our Amazon Warehouse project in Hermon, with the final placement scheduled for next week.
