🧶 Taking a little break from my usual plant content today! 🌿

While I was out and about, I stopped by the craft fair on Broadway between Dysart’s and Dunkin’ Donuts and ended up getting spotted by some plant library visitors who were there as vendors! 💚

They had a table full of beautiful handmade goodies, and naturally I had to bring something home. I picked up this gorgeous round yarn pillow—crocheted or knitted, I honestly have no idea because that is definitely NOT my area of expertise. 😂 But whatever technique created it, I absolutely love it!

They also have handmade blankets, pillows, and the cutest emotional support animals, including an emotional support PICKLE. 🥒😂

And there are tons of other vendors to explore too! Of course my plant radar was still working, because I spotted plenty of plant-inspired goodies—including air plant magnet holders for the fridge, macramé plant hangers, cute plant décor, and more. 🪴

If you’re out and about in Bangor today, swing by and check it out! Support some local makers, find something unique, and maybe tell them the crazy plant-library lady sent you. 😂🌿

And to my plant library friends who spotted me today—thank you! I absolutely LOVE my new pillow. 💚

🌿 I think I found one of my new favorite plant places! 🌿

I spent the past week in North Carolina visiting family, and of course I couldn’t be that close to a greenhouse without checking it out. 😂🪴

This was my first visit to The Big Greenhouse on Spring Garden Street in Greensboro, and I absolutely fell in love with this place.

It’s not your typical greenhouse. You walk through an eclectic shop filled with antiques, vintage finds, pottery, décor and all kinds of interesting treasures, and then you make your way into a greenhouse packed with beautiful plants. Online, people rave about the selection, including some seriously impressive mature plants, and after visiting, I completely understand why. (Loc8NearMe)

It combines two things I love: plants and antiquing. 🌿🕰️

There’s something around every corner to look at, and I could have spent WAY too much time wandering through everything. I especially love seeing big, mature plants that have clearly been growing for years. It makes the greenhouse feel less like you’re simply shopping for plants and more like you’re exploring someone’s giant plant collection.

And considering Brouse House Gardens will eventually be making its way south, I have a feeling this will definitely not be my last visit. 😉🌱

If you’re ever in Greensboro and you’re a fellow plant person, add The Big Greenhouse to your list.

I came. I saw. I wandered. I fell in love. And naturally, I wanted to take half the greenhouse home with me. 😂💚

Happy planting, y’all! 🌿
