Chimney Restoration.

This brick chimney had to be converted back to siding due to structural failure.
Originally, the chimney was built with siding. At some point, it was upgraded to brick — but the original structure was only designed to support the weight of siding, not heavy masonry. Over time, the excess load caused the chimney to begin sinking and leaning to one side.

To prevent further structural damage, we restored it to its original siding design. We rebuilt the base and reinforced the structural supports to ensure long-term stability.
Additionally, we replaced the roofing in the demolition and traffic area to eliminate any future risk of leaks, and upgraded the chimney cap from galvanized metal to a fully stainless steel cap for maximum durability.

Dec-Tec is a 60-mil reinforced PVC membrane that functions as both a roofing and walking surface in one system. It is heat-welded at the seams to create a continuous waterproof barrier, helping protect the structure below while providing a durable, slip-resistant finish.
