We are a blessed family farm that has aspirations of sustainability and growth for our little haven. I won’t bore you with the misc plans but will share some of the passion. We are abutted by some of the best neighbors in the world sharing the same environmental vision. We cannot say thank you enough to coming into our lives.

Here is one of my special neighbor friends, Sandy, a quick spotlight award and recognition. She is our volunteer ❤️ Environmental, Health and Safety Officer making sure the area is protected and safe for all wildlife. Sandy says to dress bright for the upcoming Halloween activities.

Frank that’s blasphemy to use my great grandmother’s magazine rack cranberry scoop out on the bog. Well, we focus on that little bit of what’s in us to get back to our roots. These tools, yes tools are what we use on every season harvest. One still has Grammy’s display stand attached🤣🤣🤣. Come try it out, working antiques like me.

Today was one of the best days of the 2026 harvest season. We were honored to host an educational visit for https://www.letcapecod.org/

The group lead by Jessica Sheppard and her Let’s Explore Together Program of homeschooling science class brought so many smiles and memories for us. We are part of Cape Cod and committed to keep this historical effort in our community.

It’s a slow and tedious effort for a very small family farm to work it the old fashion way. Yes the farm life is a fun, relaxing environment🤣 if you’re into lots of hardwork, no free time, joint and body aches. Plus it comes with its own serious stress points of finances, weather, equipment failures, crop loss, town politics, and lots more.

However, in the long run it’s about the history preservation of a Massachusetts/Cape Cod Heritage. We are not into building another apartment building or another roadway thru a wetland resource area. We are about balancing nature, agriculture and environmental resources(watershed management). Take a breath and enjoy our environment. Preserve it, take care of it. It’s all we have.

What a great day. ❤️ welcoming new friends to our handpicking cranberry family. Our friends Michael and Katie came by and got the tour and old school experience. Come by any time guys and bring family. Yes, there really is a technique to using these old cranberry scoops.

It was tiring today with the hand-scoop, Pam was a sweetheart and started with hand sorting the cranberries this afternoon. We hope tomorrow will be much cooler.
