I’ve had the best week I can remember. I been battling some things some know about some don’t but I want to let you know with Gods help and a lot of patience from friends and family I’m winning the battle. My whole family came to Smokey mountains for vacation this p
year and my Mama and Daddy paid for us all to get hand forged knives. This is the one I made with the sheath. I was able to meet Robby Bowman who owns and operates Iron Mountain Metal Craft. What a down to earth guy with the best country boy hunting/survivalist outlook on life you will find anywhere. Prices are fair very fair especially for the area. In meeting and talking with him he saw I had a passion same as him, he pretty much gave me what would normally be $500-$600 with of equipment for $150 rebuild kit! Im not telling yall this to just brag on a good man, it is in his heart. There is no rush in the shop it’s safe for all ages, the workers are awesome at what they do. I’m telling you all this in hopes he gets so much business he has to build ten more places. Reason I say that is he’s doing it for the future of our kids to bring a craft back to life that had almost died out. I could speak a good bit on just the few minutes my family and I were able to spend with Mr. Bowman but to sum this up next time you get to Pigeon forge behind the old mill check him out. You will not be disappointed!

Thank you, Mr. Don Cato for letting us fix your aluminum horse trailer. It was catching the ground at the corners and was breaking away the center making the gate and floor fall to the ground. The two top doors were also off due to broken hinges, the latch was missing for the center and we made and installed couple more tie offs for horses. We picked the corners up, welded and reinforced underneath made four new hinges fabricated here at Bodiford’s welding. Covered the top with two sheets of aluminum welded all the way around and he’s back hauling horses. Thank you for your business!

No job to small! This customer had a simple little weld needed to be made. He pulled up and I said hold on I think we can get you on your way without unloading it so that’s what we did. Mr. and Mrs Norm Ide enjoy riding there motorcycle but the trike wheels were wearing unevenly. So to be honest it was an eyeball job since some of the variables weren’t working out to well but it is riding smooth he says and the tires are wearing correctly. We cut the braces on the back and lowered the wheels on each side until they broke the plain, welded and reinforced with 1/4” plate steel for strength. The natural weight from the bike and riders it balances out very nice for a smooth ride Mr. Ide says. Thank you for your business! It’s is greatly appreciated!

Thank you Webbs concrete for letting us fix there tank turner. It was becoming unsafe and would not hold the tanks tight. We installed a new ratchet binder system, beefed it up with thicker steel, upgraded the attachment points, fabricated new latching system for turner, and welded out. It’s a pleasure working for you! Thank you to Rabar barns for the work on his delivery trailer. It was practically broken in half when it came in. We got it straightened back out, welded up and reinforced with 1/2” plate steel in both side welded all the way around. He’s is back on the road delivering buildings. Thanks again for the work!
