I’d first like to thank everyone who has given a word of mouth referral to me! I have taken several designs the month of July and a couple for August. I am able to take three more and to say thank you I’d like to offer these three with $25 OFF of their design for filling the month of August!

Quite some time has passed since I’ve said hello, given plant advice, or posted an update! I’ve had a few people ask if I still do designs, and the answer is, yes! I’ve done several over the past few months all thanks to people that have recommended me or through a local business I work with, and I’d like to say thank you! I haven’t pushed doing designs recently and have only worked off recommendations for a few reasons, one being my family is growing ❤️ We’ll get to meet our little girl in May, so we’ve slowed down just a little.
Thank you for the support of those who have recommended me for landscape designs! It’s something I enjoy doing and will continue to do. With Spring right around the corner, be on the lookout for some plant tips and tricks I’ll post for fun! If you’re looking to get your yard ready for Spring and would like a design, send me a message and I’ll be glad to work with you 😊

🌱 Plant Tip Tuesday 🌱 When is the best time to plant?
There is no wrong season, but there is something to know about each one.
❄️ Winter is the best time to plant. Plants are dormant (“asleep”) and are not growing. This helps the plant transition from a very controlled, potted environment to soil without shock. Watering will be significantly lower than any other season, and pests are at an all-time low. The one warning for winter is if there is a frost, you will want to cover new plants with winter cloth to protect leaves from winter burn. Mulch/pine straw will really help protect the roots.
🍁 Fall is a good time to plant as plants are starting to go dormant, temperatures tend to be cooler, and watering will be lower. SC weather is still a little tricky, so you’ll want to be sure to increase waterings during a hot spell.
🌸 Spring; everything is beginning to flush with vibrant green and fresh blooms. Absolutely nothing wrong with planting during this season. Weather is beautiful, but you will want to fertilize and water to properly nourish your plants during their growing season and as you take them from a controlled potted environment to your soil. Plant may endure a little shock, but with proper nutrients will bounce right back!
☀️ Summer where it’s hot in the south! Planting can be trickiest during this season, but very doable. You will have to water daily and your plants will probably undergo a little shock, but simply water with MiracleGro and they will be fine! The trick during this season is to water, water, water!
🌱 Always, always plant with compost. This will give your plants a boost for quick establishment and limited shock.
