INCO Electric, Inc. will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day as we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

With cold weather coming in, here are a few quick safety reminders to help keep everyone safe:

❄️ Plug space heaters directly into the wall. DO NOT use extension cords or power strips.

❄️ Keep space heaters at least 3 FEET away from furniture, blankets, and curtains.

❄️ Avoid overloading outlets with heaters or extra appliances.

❄️ If you lose power and use a generator, run it outside only and never connect it directly to your panel unless it’s set up properly.

❄️ Watch for warning signs like flickering lights, tripped breakers, or burning smells.

❄️ Stay away from downed power lines and report them immediately.

Cold temperatures can put extra stress on electrical systems. A little preparation now can help prevent bigger problems later.

Stay warm, stay safe, check on your neighbors, and bring your pets inside.
