📅 Labor Day Office Closure Notice

A reminder as we head into the holiday weekend: our offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, September 8.

💻 Members can continue to access account information and manage their accounts anytime through SmartHub at bartlett.smarthub.coop.

⚡ Outage reporting and emergency response will remain available while our offices are closed.

We hope our members have a safe Labor Day weekend!

🤝 Cooperatives are built on investing in people and the communities they serve.

As a member-owned electric cooperative, BEC Power is proud to share this scholarship opportunity from our fellow cooperative, Capital Farm Credit.

The Sally Lawson Memorial Scholarship for Cooperative Excellence honors the legacy of former Capital Farm Credit CFO Sally Lawson and supports students who aspire to strengthen agriculture and rural communities through the cooperative business model.

This annual $2,500 scholarship is an opportunity for students pursuing careers in agriculture, agribusiness, finance, accounting, or cooperative management to carry forward the values that cooperatives like Capital Farm Credit and BEC Power embody every day: service, leadership, and commitment to rural Texas.

⚡ Thank you, Davilla!

We had a great time on Saturday, August 29, at the Davilla Texas Community Center for the Davilla Health, Safety & Emergency Preparedness Fair.

Our team enjoyed visiting with community members, answering questions about electrical safety, outage communications, SmartHub and BEC Communications, and hearing directly from residents interested in the continued expansion of BEC Communications service in the area. 🌐

The BEC Power truck was also a hit with the kids during Touch-a-Truck! 🚚

Events like this give us a chance to connect with the communities we serve, listen to our members and neighbors, and work alongside local first responders, emergency management agencies and other organizations focused on keeping our communities safe and prepared.

A big thank you to the event organizers, participating agencies and everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello and spend part of their Saturday with us.

For 90 years, Bartlett Electric Cooperative has been part of the communities we serve — growing alongside the region since 1936.

Over the years, generations of members have joined us for Annual Meetings, community events and cooperative traditions that have become part of BEC’s story.
