We are making progress on one of the historic homes that we are renovating near downtown Bastrop.
The crews have been working on beefing up the existing foundation and removing a lot of the old interior fabric paper covering the original wooden shiplap walls.
We did find some original cedar timber underneath the original home that were supporting the structure and replaced them. They were hand planed in the early 1900’s. Their new repurposed use will be a new bench for the mud room at the back of the house to remove your dirty shoes!

This is the goal. Happy customers! It is hard to do in today’s market with delays in materials and lack of quality subcontractors,. We work hard to reach that goal and make it possible. Nothing like seeing the joy that can come from building a new home.
