It all started one summer in 1982. There he discovered an interest in Urban Forestry (oxymoron?).

As a member of a local Boy Scout troop, Jeff Steirer participated in a six-week trip through the American West. He soon decided he wanted to make his living ‘in the woods.’ He enrolled in the Forestry program at Colorado State University. He then focused his interest further, to the field of arboriculture. After graduating, he worked for 6 years as an ISA Certified Arborist in suburban Philadelphi

a. In 1995 he co-founded and partnered in Artistic Landscaping, Inc. here in the Lehigh Valley. The desire to create and run his own business eventually won out and the successful, 19-year partnership was dissolved.

Now that’s a makeover!

We tore this landscaping down to almost nothing, leaving only a beautiful Japanese maple and dogwood tree. We added some low maintenance plants, boulders, new stone, and shrunk up the oversized beds.

New patio in Cherryville!

We ripped out an old patio that was installed over 25 years ago! We dug out all the old stone and put in a fresh new base to support these new techo pavers for many years to come! We finished it off with a simplistic, low maintenance landscape design!

Check out this awesome project!

We completely transformed this homes curb appeal with a two tiered boulder wall up the driveway, 3 natural stone retaining walls, and a beautiful new front walkway to top it off.

Since we completed this project late last fall, it was too late for seed. We were back this week to put down 25 yards of soil, seed, and straw to bring this yard back to life!

Here’s a quick patio refresh we did a few weeks back!

This 25 year old patio was showing some signs of its age. We tore down and replaced the steps at the back door, fixed the many low spots, replaced the caps on the front step, added a nice semi-circle design, repaired the many accent lights in the steps, gave it a nice power washing, as well as re-sanding.
