Football season is almost here… is your outdoor living space ready?🤔

Last spring we remodeled our own outdoor kitchen and game room and turned it into an outdoor living area that everyone can enjoy — even in the Louisiana heat and humidity. Retractable screens and a 5-ton AC unit means we can enjoy being outside with friends and family no matter what the weather is doing.

It’s hands down one of the best decisions we’ve made. It’s the perfect place for hosting or even just a hangout spot, especially during football season. This is your sign to upgrade your outdoor living area or incorporate one into your custom plans👆🏻

Ready to build a custom home? Our biggest piece of advice is to start with your builder, not an architect.

It’s important to meet with a few builders and find your top contenders before you start designing. This will help you design a set of plans that you love, without blowing your budget.

Going the design-build route makes it easier on both ends. The client gets what they want with transparent pricing, and the builder is involved in every discussion and detail throughout the process.

Two family businesses teaching their boys in real time. There’s nothing that replaces hands-on experience. That’s what internships in the trades are all about. Construction especially is built on mentorship - passing down knowledge, work ethic, and craftsmanship one job at a time. It’s great seeing the younger generation working hard and learning…especially when it’s your own kids!

The Shreve custom is making great progress and we’re about 2 weeks out from the punch list. Every detail is coming together, and we can’t wait to see the finished result and hand this beautiful home over to its owners.

We’re always looking for ways to improve the quality of what we do, and Guardia Pro floor coverings have definitely been a game changer.
