Behind the Build: St. Leo the Great Catholic Church | Lafayette, LA
Creating a sacred space like St. Leo the Great Catholic Church doesn’t just start with plans—it starts with people. This project has been a true labor of faith, precision, and passion, and we want to shine a light on the incredible team at RTE Cabinets & Millwork who brought it to life.
From the mill crew cutting and prepping raw lumber, to the CNC operators programming and running machines with pinpoint accuracy, to the sanders, finishers, and installers who shaped every piece with care—this was a full team effort. Long hours, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to excellence made each component of this project possible.
We’ve been building custom pews, the altar, ambo, lectern, communion rail, and a host of intricate architectural millwork, and we couldn’t be prouder of the craftsmanship and dedication poured into every step. These aren’t just furnishings—they’re acts of devotion in wood and finish.
A special thank you to Rodney, owner of RTE, for leading this effort with vision and care. We’re also incredibly grateful to Fr. Kyle White and the St. Leo church family for trusting us with this sacred responsibility. And above all, we thank God for blessing us with the opportunity to do this meaningful work.
Take a look behind the scenes at how these sacred spaces take shape—from raw beginnings to crafted details.
And yes… we included one sneak peek of the final result at the end.
Stay tuned—the full reveal is coming soon, and it’s something we can’t wait to share.
