🏆Land: Over $10 Million | La Reussite to Myrtle Grove Levee Project
Cajun completed the pile driving scope for three major levee structures along the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ 6.5-mile levee project. Our team installed more than 63,000 square feet of sheet piling and 639 pipe piles up to 160 feet long, overcoming complex marsh conditions, active pipeline crossings, and challenging logistics through innovative planning and ex*****on.

🏆Marine: Less than $10 Million | CSX 2 Mile Gulf Coast Hardening Project
Working entirely from the marsh side while trains remained active nearby, Cajun constructed a two-mile coastal protection wall in the Lake St. Catherine Wetlands. The team installed 1,204 vertical piles, 901 horizontal walers, and 317 sheet piles using specialized marine equipment and innovative construction methods. The $4.9 million project was completed on schedule, under budget, and without a recordable safety incident.

👏 Cajun Industries successfully completed a chemical plant expansion project spanning two separate facilities, self-performing work across multiple disciplines, including equipment installation, structural steel er****on, piping, and concrete foundations. Across both facilities, Cajun completed nearly 1,500 welds, installed approximately 6,500 linear feet of pipe, erected 450 pipe supports, performed roughly 480 bolt-ups, placed nearly 180 cubic yards of concrete, and erected almost 10 tons of structural steel.

Cajun executed this work while maintaining an exemplary safety record, resulting in zero OSHA recordables. As stated in our Vision Statement, Cajun prides itself on putting our employee’s health and safety above all else, exceeding the expectations of our clients, and striving for operational excellence. This project was a great example of Cajun fulfilling its vision statement. Congratulations to all who contributed to this safe and successful project!

Cajun Industries was proud to welcome students from the West Baton Rouge Career Academy's WBR Industry Experience Program to our Westport facilities.

Students from Port Allen High School and Brusly High School toured our pipe fabrication shop, equipment yard, and form fabrication shop while learning about the people, skills, and opportunities that drive our industry.

Programs like WBR Industry Experience help connect students with real-world careers, giving them firsthand exposure to the construction industry and a better understanding of the many career paths available after graduation.

We're grateful for our partnership with the West Baton Rouge Career Academy and appreciate the opportunity to invest in the next generation of skilled professionals.
