Relay attacks are surprisingly easy to perform and are relatively easy to get the equipment to perform consistently.
This article is informative, but I would also recommend a cheap safe, like one you can pick up at Harbor Freight, just ensure it is all metal. If you want something on the super cheap, just a box lined with aluminum foil should do the trick. Just ensure that ALL sides are line with aluminum foil and keep it closed with the fob(s) inside.
It’s a cheap solution to a high-tech threat, but some experts warn it may not be worth the risk.
