Hard Water, Expensive Equipment & the Filter You Probably Forgot About

Your equipment has a water problem. And unfortunately, it can't call us to complain.

💧What Exactly Is Hard Water?
Hard water contains elevated levels of dissolved minerals, primarily calcium and magnesium. Those minerals may not seem like much when you're looking at a glass of water. Your equipment has a different opinion.

When hard water is heated or used repeatedly inside commercial equipment, mineral deposits can accumulate as scale in steam generators and boilers, water lines, spray nozzles, solenoid valves, heating components, ice machine components, water reservoirs and internal plumbing.

Scale can also act as an insulator, interfering with heat transfer and forcing equipment to work harder to accomplish the same job. More scale can mean more cleaning, more service, more downtime and more money.

Some careers are changing fast. 👀

Food equipment service? Yeah… we’re feeling pretty good over here. 😂🕺🔧

As long as commercial kitchens have ovens, fryers, refrigeration, dishwashers, and that one piece of equipment making a sound it absolutely should NOT be making… they’re going to need a Malachy tech. 😂

Our techs show up, troubleshoot the problem, and keep the kitchen moving.
