Turf Masters

Turf Masters Turf Masters is looking for extra help in anticipation of the upcoming winter season. Please click t Turf Masters started very simply almost 30 years ago.

Owners Mike Walsh and Brian Fitzpatrick began their business with only two trucks, two trailers, eight lawnmowers, and a staff of two. Themselves. What began as a backyard operation servicing only 37 lawns has blossomed into a full-scale corporation that now contracts over 12,000 lawns a week. Here at Turf Masters, we pride ourselves on doing one thing, and one thing right. Lawn maintenance. We pr

ovide edging, fertilization, core aeration, and of course - grass cutting. Turf Masters also uses a network of people who we utilize to perform other services such as tree removal, stump grinding, and irrigation. We provide grass cutting as well as snow removal in house. We keep it green and maintained to keep your community looking the way it should. This is something we can all be proud of. With locations in Berkeley, Brick, Lakewood, Manchester, and Toms River, this lawn service is fully stocked and able to handle any job in Ocean County.

As we get closer, the predicted snow totals are only getting higher. Please take every precaution possible and be prepared to stay home Sunday and Monday at the very least. Staying off the roads and inside your homes enables us to work safely and as quickly as possible. Understand that with a storm of this magnitude, snow removal will be difficult. This is not a lack of help or equipment, rather this is shaping up to be an historic snow event and will include dangerous conditions. The safety of all concerned, our communities as well as our employees and contractors, is our priority. Do NOT approach equipment as we are working as visibility will be greatly reduced. Please complete all food shopping, medication pickup, and necessary preparation as early as possible today. Please check in with your neighbors. Know that as always we will work our hardest to ensure a professional removal, and our employees and contractors will be there as soon as safely possible working around the clock for you.

As we prepare for the upcoming storm, please try to gather what you need now and avoid travel once snow begins. This helps to maintain safe conditions for our operators and enables them to work more efficiently. Please remember NOT to approach workers in equipment as they are clearing snow from roadways and driveways, as conditions are extremely dangerous during storms of this magnitude, especially in the dark when workers visibility can he greatly reduced.
Please remove all vehicles from roadways. This allows the hard-working crews to effectively and efficiently clear the roadways, while keeping them and everyone safe.
As always during winter weather, we would like to remind our residents once the roads are clear to travel with caution and fully clear your vehicles of excess snow and ice, as both can become hazardous debris to other motorists.
We are committed to ensuring that you receive the best service possible. Please understand that conditions may deteriorate rapidly, and that a storm this significant may increase the time it takes to perform a complete removal.

Open to all!!!

Our October PTA meeting will be open to the public, and will follow a different format than our typical General Membership Meetings. In conjunction with the CREA, we are presenting a “Meet the Candidates” for BOE night. I sincerely hope you will all take advantage of the opportunity to shape the future of our district and learn what each candidate stands for, and then most importantly, turn out to vote on November 5!

Candidates will have the opportunity to speak about their position, then a moderator will present questions randomly. The refreshment portion will be an opportunity for candidates to speak directly with attendees.

If you have feelings about the direction of the district, NOW is your chance to do something meaningful and constructive!

Let’s hear your winter predictions! Cold and snowy, finally, or keeping with the mild trend?
