Every spring this spot in Waukegan turns into a sea of blue 💙

These are Siberian squill (Scilla siberica)—not native, but they’ve naturalized here over the years and now they come back stronger every season. No planting crews, no maintenance… just nature doing its thing.

It’s become one of those little hidden gems in the area that people look forward to every year.

If you catch it at the right time, it’s unreal.
