Five minutes. Big difference. ✂️🌸
If your spring perennials — spirea, salvia, allium — have finished blooming, don't just let them sit. Deadheading spent flowers redirects the plant's energy back into root development and often triggers a second round of flowering later in the season.
It's one of the simplest things you can do in June and one of the most rewarding.
Five minutes per plant. That's it.
