Five minutes. Big difference. ✂️🌸

If your spring perennials — spirea, salvia, allium — have finished blooming, don't just let them sit. Deadheading spent flowers redirects the plant's energy back into root development and often triggers a second round of flowering later in the season.

It's one of the simplest things you can do in June and one of the most rewarding.

Five minutes per plant. That's it.

Dug out, lined up, and ready to build. 🛠️

This is where a beautiful walkway really begins — excavating to the right depth, pulling string lines to ensure everything stays perfectly straight, and setting the stage for a solid, level base. The work you don't see is what makes the finished product last.

That worn dirt path is never coming back. Something much better is on its way. 👀

Get close enough and the craftsmanship tells the whole story. 🪨

Every horizontal course of this stacked stone column is laid with precision — tight joints, consistent lines, natural variation in the stone giving it that texture and depth you simply cannot replicate with manufactured materials.

String lines keep everything true. The rest is all skill.

This pavilion is going to be something else when it's done. 👀

Still time to plant your heat-lovers. 🌻

Zinnias, marigolds, lantana, ornamental grasses — all still excellent additions to your beds right now. They establish quickly in June warmth and reward you all summer and into fall.

And if you haven't added Black-eyed Susans yet — native to the region, drought tolerant, pollinator-friendly, and they bloom all summer long — this is your sign. Plant them once and they come back bigger and better every single year.

Every great path starts exactly like this. 🌿

A worn dirt trail, overgrown edges, and a front door that deserves so much better. This is day one of a new walkway project — and honestly, the "before" photos are some of our favorites because they show exactly how much potential is just waiting to be unlocked.

Clearing starts now. Something beautiful is coming. 👀

Stay tuned — this one is going to be a transformation worth watching.

While the chimney goes up — the pavilion starts from the ground. 🏗️

String lines pulled tight, rebar set, stone column bases going in. This is the foundation work for the pavilion that will frame the outdoor fireplace — and getting this stage exactly right is what makes everything above it square, level, and built to last.

Two major builds happening on the same site simultaneously. The crew is locked in. 💪

June is the payoff month. 🌿☀️

Remember all those April weekends spreading mulch while it was still kind of cold and you weren't totally sure it was worth it?

This is why you did that.

Everything is full, the evenings are long, and the Hudson Valley is doing that thing where it's so green it almost doesn't look real. Stop working on your outdoor space and start living in it.

Hello June. 🌿☀️

The Hudson Valley is doing that thing where everything is so green it almost doesn't look real. The evenings are long, the air is warm, and outdoor spaces are finally getting the attention they've been waiting for all year.

June is our favorite month to be in this business — and honestly, our favorite month to have a yard. Whether you're deep into a project, just getting started, or simply out there enjoying what you've built, we're glad to be part of this season with you.

Here's to long days, good work, and beautiful spaces shared with people you love.

🌿Happy June from all of us at Peak Landscaping. 🙌

This is where the magic happens. 🔥🪨

Up on the scaffold, stone by stone, course by course — this is what real masonry craft looks like in action. No shortcuts, no prefab panels. Just a skilled mason and the patience to do it right.

The chimney raise on this outdoor fireplace is coming together beautifully. Every layer adds character. Every stone is placed with intention.

We love this work. 🙌

Still going up. And it keeps getting more impressive. 🔥🪨

Every course of stone on this chimney raise is laid by hand — each piece chosen for fit, texture, and how it reads alongside the ones around it. You can't rush this kind of work, and honestly, you wouldn't want to.

The scaffold comes down soon. And when it does, this outdoor fireplace is going to be one of the most stunning features in any Hudson Valley backyard we've ever worked on.

Stone from our friends at Pidala Material and Supply. Worth every piece. 👀
